Anger, bitterness, resentment - they will kill your joy and steal your happiness. Find a way to let go - talk to someone, write it down and burn it, use the practice of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), meditate, pray. Release those emotions and find your way to peace.
Let go of the past - the guilt, the shame, and the regret; let go of the future - the anxiety, the worry, and the fear and just be here, now. Look, listen, feel and just be.
We may be infinite beings but we are living in physical bodies that won't last forever. Don't wait to live.
There is a beautiful practice in Buddhism called tonglen meditation. In it you take in the suffering of others and you send out relief. To help you relate to others you can think of your own suffering. For instance, if you want to relieve the suffering of those who are hungry, you can remember a time when you were hungry, this will help to connect you.
