Some people swear by affirmations, others say they don't work. I say that if your mind is going to be constantly churning it is better to be directing it towards empowering statements than beating yourself up or complaining.
Try a few of the affirmations below and add some of your own. It can't hurt and some of the statements just might stick. I am strong I am loved I make good decisions I am enough I am able to find solutions I make good choices I can do it I love and take good care of my body For more inspiration visit: http://www.cccinspire.com Design a few exercises to see things from a different perspective:
What do we really know? How can we be certain of anything? The illusion of knowing and being able to predict outcomes not only gives us a false sense of security but it biases our perception and limits us. When you don't know you are open to all possibilities.
You may not be able to control what is happening in your environment but you can choose where you place your focus and that will affect how you experience the world. When you think uplifting thoughts you not only feel better emotionally and mentally but your body releases hormones that contribute to your health. And you are in a much better position to help someone else to feel better too. So refocusing is a win situation all around.
It's okay to have desires but don't be attached to "when and if" they are fulfilled. The universe follows it's own rhythm, and when you surrender to this divine timing, peace and happiness will come regardless of whether or not your want was fulfilled.
