We can't go back and even if we could, despite the powerful allure of comfort and familiarity, we shouldn't. We have been given the opportunity to see the ugliness, that selfishness and greed has brought to the planet and her beings. Let's find new ways, let's reach for higher values, and higher vibrations so we can bring healing and peace to ourselves and to all of nature.  As long as you are unwilling to consider new ways of being and experiencing the world, you will remain stuck and you won't even know it.
