While sorting through stuff I found this video from 4 years ago that I had saved. It rings just as true today. Let's use our hearts to see rather than our eyes.  Free yourself from prejudices, from polarizing thoughts, from the fear of that which is different, from superiority and open your heart to the suffering of all beings.  Don't follow the crowd, think outside the box, question the status quo. Be outrageous, be audacious, think in terms of unlimited possibilities.  No more gossip, no more unkind words, no more lies or half truths, no more cruel jokes, and only words that bring value. Imagine what the world would be like if we all adopted these rules.  You are a multi-sensory being, don't limit yourself to the experiences of this physical world. Go beyond, into the world of magic and synchronicity, connect with the divine.  Make it your mission today to bring a little happiness everywhere you go. Then at bedtime, reflect back on the day, and notice how you feel. Repeat tomorrow.  You get to choose to send your cells signals of stress or signals of well being depending on the thoughts that you focus on and the words that you speak.  What kind of energy are your thoughts creating?  You may not be able to choose your external world but you get to choose which thoughts you nurture and grow.  Think of how good you feel when you are able to help someone. Be generous by giving others the opportunity to experience this wonderful feeling by allowing them to help you.  The light is there inside, sometimes buried and hidden under the grime of false beliefs and prejudices, of fear and hate. Examine your thoughts, weed out the ones that are in conflict with your true being. Relax and allow peace and compassion to flow through you. And then go about your tasks from this divine place where solutions are actions are in harmony with your soul.  Whether we stand alone or together, let's stand for love, compassion and peace. Listen to Awakening/Om Shanti. Shanti means peace, Sat Chit Ananda means absolute bliss consciousness.  Shine your light to the world, be an example of kindness and compassion.  Relax and let it go, it has nothing to do with you, it is all about the other person.  |
